May 16 – Day 6

The Library’s Greek Mythology Bee begins tomorrow during advisory. There are 48 students signed up to participate. It’s not too late to join the fun – sign up in the library today!

Ms. Mullaney’s classes are cancelled for today.

Today will be the rewards lunch for 7th and 8th graders. It is for students who did not receive a referral the past two weeks. Students will report to the cafeteria at the beginning of the lunch period. Nice job to all who participate.

Any 8th grade girls interested in playing basketball next season need to attend a meeting on Tuesday (5/21) at 5:15 at the high school gym. (Note day change)

Modified track will NOT meet today. We will practice tomorrow at the MS until 4:30. The meet has been rescheduled for next Tuesday!

Attention Jazz Ensemble: Rehearsal today after school until 5 pm.

The Modified Track meet for today has been cancelled. There will be no practice.

There are two more days to sign-up for the Library’s Annual Greek Mythology Bee! Sign up between now and Thursday. The competition begins this Friday (5/17) during advisory.

Do you play chess? Would you like to learn how to play chess? The first meeting of the Chess Club will be Thursday morning during advisory. Come to the Library after checking in with your homeroom teacher. Be ready to play! Chess sets are needed and welcome! If you have any questions see Ms. Berdan.

Attention MS Art students: The Cobleskill town pool is creating a mural this summer and they want YOUR help. You have been invited to help design and paint a mural with an “underwater” theme. Come to the Art room on Thursday, May 16th during advisory for details or see Mr. Hopkins. All are welcome!
